OUR PHILOSOPHY AND ETHICS INITIATIVE

Ability 2004 born thanks to the tenacity consistency and coherence of VITALIANO FERRAJOLO for its needs and the people around him, to create a useful instrument to preserve an important right: THE RIGHT TO WORK OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. Himself disable, with great experience because he created an association that protects the rights of these people, his basic principle is that: TO BE PROTAGONIST OF OUR LIFE. Although new laws have been enacted, are still the old prejudices, and people with major disabilities remain outside from business working. These are the people helped by social coop Ability, promoting their image and their commitment.

Coop Ability is made up of people with disabilities, together with their families, all of them professional and chose with great care, because Ability wants to exploit who have had the desire and perseverance, to have built a future.
Social tourism is what is most dear to members and employees of the coop, in particular those social tourism that do not discriminate, creating a regional network called S.I.T.In. (integrated services for tourism inclusive) useful to improve the quality of the visitor with customized services and in general to promote the image of Campania inclusive and its respect for diversity. when we speak of accessible tourism we refer to a tourism that is attentive to all, able to meet the needs of children, elderly, mothers, people with disabilities, blind people, or do not listen, that have allergies or food problems. Our objective is not only to sensitize the public and social institution to enforce the " Manifest for the promotion of accessible tourism" issued by the Minister of Tourism (Article 30 of the UN Convention on the right of people with disabilities law n. 18, 24/02/09) but also as an institution, trainer and manager of initiatives that support this manifest.

Coop Ability as permitted by law will be of type A and B

From January 2010 is entered in the supplier of City of Science (NA) categories: car with driver services; mobility disabled people with accessible minibuses and enable strategic consulting and organizational services and specialized content on the topics of the facilities' Employment, Social Policy, professions, guidance, training and education, integrated services for tourism training and professional updating.
From January 2010 he signed with the Municipality of Caserta agreement to promote the image and the cultural and scientific activities of the Planetarium of Caserta in schools, public institutions and aims to increase the inflow to the facility.
From December 2009 has enabled the mobility service, also intended for people with motor disabilities, with the purchase of a minibus 8 seats + driver, designed edutainment & Tourism, with permission of Limousine (NCC 1) for Disabled (only in the province of Caserta).
In September 2008 the project S.I.T.In., received the national first award for the 2008 edition on accessible tourism, in the event BETA (European Exchange Tourism Associate) held in Cecina (LI), sponsored by ENIT and Region Tuscany.
In 2008/09 is a partner of the Happy Age Ltd (a leading tourism office) in the promotion and management of tourism projects on social and inclusive, and for the organization of travel and accommodation for people with disabilities.
In December 2007 he signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Superintendency BAPPSAE of Caserta and Benevento, the Provincial Tourism Authority of Caserta, the Youth Agency of the Province of Caserta, with the League Issues Handicapped Foundation of Caserta on "accessibility and enjoyment of the great cultural attraction " Royal palace of Caserta" based on the principles of non-discrimination and equality of opportunity "to reach the objective of improving the quality of tourism of the Royal palace of Caserta and the entire cultural heritage of the province of Caserta.

For the activity of type A, social welfare:

Ability in 2004 from February 2006 to June 2009 has operated a social networking service dedicated to people with moderate-severe intellectual disability, association with Solidarity Project Foundation of Caserta.
Ability 2004 he managed in the years 2005-06, in agreement with the association LPH of Caserta, a social-welfare services in the municipality of innovative Marcianise (project funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs under Law 162/98), promoted by three local associations (LPH Foundation, Solidarity Project Foundation, UILDM) offered to people with severe physical disabilities to experience a way of life independent from the family, called "Independent Living".
Ability 2004 has been sponsoring the project with the parents circle II of Caserta in kindergarten, with the objective of upgrading the image of the school structure, the project was approved in November 2005 and three years of valence.
Ability in 2004 from April 2006 until July 2006 has managed the project "School Ship" as occupational therapy service for medium and severe disabilities into employment to accompany the coop social Solution Idea (created by an incubator Chamber of Commerce Caserta), in agreement with the ASIPS Chamber of Commerce of Caserta and in collaboration with the Association Solidarity Project of Caserta.

Ability 2004, from September 2009 until August 2010, will manage the project continues Sitin. Ability 2004, in the eleventh week of culture 2009, BAP is a partner with the Superintendency of Caserta and Benevento, the project "Service Reception, orientation and introduction to visit the park for disabled users (SAP).

Ability 2004 has been a partner of the Superintendent BAPPSAE of Caserta and Benevento in X Culture Week 2008 in the "Service Reception, orientation and introduction to visit the park for disabled users (SAP.)"

Ability 2004 from December 2007 to July 2008 was in custody by the Youth Provincial of the Province of Caserta project management S.I.T.In. objective guidance, and welcome tourists with mobility disabilities to the Royal Palace of Caserta, (D. n.188/2007) funded by the Campania Region.
